???? Sydney Restoration PM! ???????? Scope, estimate & manage insurance restoration jobs end-to-end
My client is a leading insurance builder with their own internal restoration division, and they are looking for an experienced Restoration Project Manager to join their Sydney team.
This is a hands-on role combining estimating and project management, where you'll assess and scope restoration works before managing the job through to completion. Projects will predominantly sit across water, fire, flood and mould damage within the insurance space.
As Restoration Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
Attending sites to assess damage and determine the required restoration and remediation works
Preparing detailed scopes of work, estimates and reports for insurance restoration claims
Managing a portfolio of restoration projects from initial assessment through to completion
Managing projects across water, fire, flood, mould and other insurable events
Coordinating Restoration Technicians, subcontractors and equipment across multiple jobs
Overseeing water extraction, structural drying, remediation and restoration works
Reviewing moisture readings and drying progress and determining ongoing equipment requirements
Managing project costs, budgets, variations and timeframes
Liaising directly with insureds, insurers, loss adjusters and other key stakeholders
Ensuring works are completed in accordance with approved scopes and insurer requirements
Managing quality, WHS and compliance across projects
Maintaining accurate job notes, photos, reports and project documentation
Ensuring projects meet required KPIs and SLAs
To be successful, you will ideally have:
Previous experience within insurance restoration, remediation or disaster recovery
Experience assessing, scoping and estimating restoration works
Strong technical knowledge across water damage, structural drying, fire and/or mould remediation
Experience managing restoration projects through to completion
IICRC qualifications highly regarded
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once
Strong reporting and documentation skills
Confidence dealing with insurers, loss adjusters, insureds and subcontractors
Strong organisation, communication and customer service skills
A current Australian Driver's Licence
