Join a growing QLD team as a Project Admin, working closely with the project director supporting a range of commercial fitout projects

  • An experienced project admin required for growing fitout business
  • Day-to-day support of the QLD Project Director
  • Projects across retail, office refurbs and fitouts, hospitality and more.

We are looking for an experienced project administrator to join a growing fitout business in Queensland, supporting the project management team across a range of commercial projects.

This is a great opportunity for an organised, proactive administrator with experience within the construction industry to join a national business.

About the Role

Working closely with the QLD Project Director, you'll provide day-to-day administrative and project support across a number of projects at one time.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the QLD Project Director, providing day-to-day administrative project support across a number of projects at one time within retail, offices, hospitality and more.
  • Assisting with project documentation, records and reporting
  • Coordinating project information and communication between internal teams, clients and contractors
  • Supporting project scheduling and general project coordination
  • Assisting with purchase orders, invoices and other project administration
  • Maintaining accurate project files and information within Innergy
  • Following up project actions and ensuring deadlines are kept
  • Providing general administrative support to the project team as required

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Project Administration ideally within fitout / shopfitting or another area of construction where you are familiar communicating with commercial or residential builders.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
  • The ability to work independently while being part of a wider interstate team

The Location, Training & Support

An initial remote work set up would be expected temporarily before some time training and onboarding in Sydney with three Sydney-based Project Administrators learn the systems and processes, and get a thorough understanding of the role before taking ownership of the Queensland projects.

An office in the Brisbane CBD is in the process of being set up for the role to be based at.

What We Offer

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday position
  • Flexibility on remote work & flexible start and finish times depending on workload.
  • $70,000-$90,000 + Super, depending on experience
