The Role

An experienced Site Manager is required to take ownership of commercial projects from site establishment through to handover.

You will lead all day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and consultants, manage the construction programme and ensure each project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations from commencement through to completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
• Drive the construction programme and manage short-term sequencing
• Maintain high standards across safety, quality and site presentation
• Conduct site meetings, inductions and toolbox talks
• Coordinate trades, consultants and design information
• Identify and resolve construction issues before they affect delivery
• Manage inspections, defects, commissioning and project handover
• Work closely with the Project Manager and Contract Administrator
• Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders

About You

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial construction
• Experience delivering projects valued between approximately $3M and $15M
• Strong background in hospitality, retail, refurbishment, fitout or adaptive-reuse projects
• Sound understanding of construction methodology, programming and sequencing
• Strong subcontractor management and leadership skills
• Thorough knowledge of Australian building codes and WHS requirements
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Confident communicator with a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Relevant trade background or construction qualification
• Current White Card and First Aid certification
