We are working with a growing Tier 3 commercial builder that is expanding its teams and project portfolio across Melbourne. They are looking for a Senior Contract Administrator who wants to take on greater responsibility and ultimately progress into a Commercial Manager position.

The Role

As Senior Contract Administrator, you will take ownership of the commercial management of your projects while working closely with Project Managers, senior leadership and subcontractors.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing the full commercial lifecycle of projects
• Overseeing subcontractor procurement and package management
• Managing variations, progress claims, EOTs and contractual correspondence
• Cost reporting, forecasting and financial reporting
• Leading subcontractor negotiations and commercial outcomes
• Supporting Project Managers with commercial strategy and risk management
• Mentoring junior Contract Administrators
• Working closely with senior leadership on broader commercial initiatives

About You

• Has strong commercial construction experience in Melbourne
• Is confident managing projects from a commercial perspective
• Has excellent contract and subcontractor management skills
• Understands project financials, risk and commercial strategy
• Can mentor and develop junior team members
