We are working with a highly regarded Tier 2 commercial builder with a strong pipeline of projects across Melbourne. With a diverse portfolio spanning government, education, community, commercial and refurbishment projects, they are looking to add an experienced Contract Administrator to their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for a CA who wants exposure to varied projects, strong mentorship and the chance to work closely with experienced Project Managers and senior leadership.

The Role

As Contract Administrator, you will take ownership of the commercial and contractual aspects of your projects, working closely with the project team, subcontractors and clients to keep everything moving smoothly.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to finalisation
• Preparing, reviewing and administering contracts
• Managing variations, progress claims, EOTs and contractual correspondence
• Cost reporting and forecasting
• Subcontractor negotiations and relationship management
• Supporting Project Managers with commercial and contractual matters
• Maintaining project documentation and ensuring contractual compliance

About You

We are looking for a Contract Administrator with:

• 2+ years' experience within commercial construction in Australia
• Experience working for a head contractor
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• A relevant construction, engineering or quantity surveying qualification is advantageous
