Storeperson wanted for a highly regarded mining contractor in Brisbane. You'll play a key role in stock, parts, and container coordination.

This well-known, Tier 1 UG mining contractor has been operating in Australia for over a decade and boasts a broad portfolio of development, ground support and production contracts on a national basis. They're currently in one of the busiest periods in the company's history, driving strong demand for support staff to keep the workshop running smoothly.

The opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join a reputable, Tier 1 mining contractor on an immediate start basis.

• Initial 2-month contract with potential to move to a permanent or longer-term contract role
• Great hours - 6am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime available
• Convenient workshop location close to the city (near Eagle Farm), plus plenty of parking
• Opportunity to build genuine mining industry experience in a stable, city-based role
• Attractive hourly rates: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour + Super
• Work alongside an experienced, close-knit workshop team

The role
Working in a Warehouse Officer capacity - known on site as a Storeperson - you'll be responsible for:

• Execution and coordination of stocking containers, including receiving and stocking parts
• Supporting installs with hand tool knowledge
• Picking and packing parts and components accurately and efficiently
• Parts interpretation and identification
• VIN number matching to ensure accurate parts allocation
• Operating a forklift as part of day-to-day duties
• Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting general warehouse housekeeping

Your value

• Experienced Storeperson/Warehouse Officer
• Current forklift licence - advantageous
• Strong administrative background - advantageous
• Strong hand tool knowledge
• Ability to interpret parts and match to VIN numbers accurately
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Team player with a great attitude towards work
• Comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a broader workshop team
