The Role & Duties

Join a close-knit crew focused on haulage and keeping the operation moving. Reporting to the Shift Boss, day-to-day includes:

• Operating underground mining trucks - in an active production environment
• Working to shift and swing targets to support continuous underground production
• Conducting pre-starts, basic maintenance checks and reporting faults before they become issues
• Following strict site safety procedures and underground operating standards at all times
• Communicating clearly with the Shift Boss and crew to keep things running smoothly
• Assisting with general underground tasks as required by the shift boss

Stay at a good camp with a social atmosphere, close to site and comfortable enough that you'll actually enjoy your downtime between shifts.

• Short distance from camp to site - no lengthy travel at the start or end of shift

Your Value

Heavy operating experience is the baseline - underground is ideal but civil and haulage backgrounds are genuinely considered. Attitude and reliability will set you apart here.

• Experience operating heavy machinery with exposure to Sandvik, Epiroc or CAT is a real advantage
• Team focused, hardworking and the right attitude to learning.
• Strong safety awareness and the discipline to follow underground operating procedures
• Reliable, physically fit and able to work 12-hour shifts across a full swing
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Pass a pre-employment mining medical and national police check
