Production Estimator

Residential Builder seeking a Production Estimator (3-5 years' experience) to join its Southwest team. Salary $100K-$130K + superannuation.

About the Company

Our client is an Australian owned and family operated business with over 25+ years experience in the residential housing industry. Building over 200 homes a year across Sydney and New South Wales, you will be joining an established business with a strong pipeline of work and a strong reputation across the industry.

About the Role

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of production estimating across a range of contract homes, house and land developments, and highly customised projects.

Duties

• Provide accurate pricing for contracts and variations including appropriate margin considerations
• Obtain relevant quotes and pricing for non-standard variations
• Negotiate rates and costs with preferred and non-standard suppliers, sub-contractors and trades
• Produce accurate documentation within budgeted time lines
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company products and services
• Preparing accurate BOQ's
• Excellent customer service skills, working with supervisors, suppliers, trades, and contractors
• Maintaining trade and supplier relationships

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years estimating experience with a residential builder or developer is preferred
• Diploma in Building and Construction or trade background will be highly favourable
• Prior experience using estimating software and systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills when dealing supervisors, suppliers, trades, and contractors
