Joinery Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Project Manager to join a high-performing team, delivering commercial joinery fitouts across Sydney. This is a hands-on role offering a high level of autonomy and responsibility, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their projects from start to finish.

You will be managing a diverse portfolio of high-end and high-value commercial joinery projects including pubs, bars, medical centres, and office interiors.

This role involves a strong mix of site-based and office-based work, with a focus on delivery, coordination, client communication, and managing a team of installers to ensure projects are completed on time to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple live joinery projects concurrently
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery from handover through to completion
• Coordinate and manage site installers directly (teams of approx. 6-15 depending on project stage)
• Liaise closely with builders, clients, and stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve issues
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and to a high standard of finish
• Interpret architectural and joinery drawings and confidently respond to technical queries
• Work closely with internal factory and production teams (supported by a dedicated foreman)
• Maintain clear and proactive communication across all stakeholders

About You

• Minimum 4-5 years' experience in Project Management within joinery, fitout, or commercial construction
• Strong understanding of joinery construction methods and technical detailing
• Trade background (joinery or cabinet making) highly regarded
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Able to manage site teams and installers directly
• Solutions-focused with a proactive, hands-on approach
