Whether you're coming from civil, open cut or already have UG time under your belt, there's a clear path to permanent roster that won't wreck your home life.

• Even-time 2:2 roster - 2 weeks days, 2 weeks off, 2 weeks nights, no mid-week changeovers
• Charter FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns - or DIDO if you're local
• Full camp on site - accommodation, meals and amenities all covered

The Role & Duties

You'll move into a split workshop and underground field service role which is hands-on work across a broad fleet of gear and day-to-day includes:

• Servicing, preventative maintenance, inspections, component change-outs, rebuilds etc
• Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and keeping equipment running
• Fleet includes Volvo, Sandvik boggers, loaders and drills, CAT, Normet and auxiliary equipment
• Maintaining all equipment to OEM and site standards at all times

The Site & Operation

An active and expanding mine in North QLD with the infrastructure, equipment and leadership to back it up. The maintenance team has experienced tradespeople, solid supervision and a culture that prioritises doing things properly over cutting corners.

The Roster & FIFO

Two weeks on, two weeks off - and when you're on site, you're not roughing it, this camp has been upgraded.

• Telstra and Wi-Fi so you're not completely off the grid between shifts

Your Value

Your diesel trade cert and heavy background are the starting point:

• Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter is essential
• Strong diagnostics and repair skills across a range of heavy equipment
• Prior experience in civil, earthmoving, open cut or underground mining highly regarded
• Physically fit, safety-focused and able to work 12-hour shifts across a full swing
• Reliable, adaptable and ready to hit the ground running from swing one
• Current manual driver's licence, pre-employment medical and national police check
