Our client is a highly respected fire protection contractor delivering maintenance, compliance, construction and specialist fire protection solutions across commercial, industrial, strata and government sectors. They are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive new client acquisition and expand existing relationships.

This is an opportunity to join a business that has built its reputation on technical expertise, service delivery and long-term client partnerships rather than competing solely on price.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships and generating revenue growth across multiple service lines.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, strata and property sectors
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction
• Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve growth targets
• Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract award
• Representing the business at industry events, networking functions and client meetings
• Maintaining accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

• Proven Business Development or Account Management experience
• Experience within fire protection, building services, facilities management, HVAC, electrical, mechanical or related technical services industries
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• A track record of winning new business and developing long-term client relationships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a genuine passion for business development
