Electrical Trainer Vacancies

Salary: $140,000 - $220,000 + super (depending on experience and role level)
Employment Type: Full-time

We are partnering with a leading national training organisation within the electrical sector to recruit experienced Trainers. This organisation delivers high-quality, industry-relevant training programs that prepare electricians for real-world technical roles across multiple specialist disciplines.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to students undertaking specialist electrical qualifications. You will play a key role in supporting learners through both theoretical and practical components of their training journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering innovative learning and assessment materials provided by the organisation
• Supporting students throughout their learning journey to build knowledge, confidence, and employability
• Delivering practical, hands-on training sessions that simulate real workplace environments
• Marking online coursework and supporting students in course completion
• Preparing and setting up training materials for courses delivered in unattended facilities
• Maintaining training resources and ensuring readiness for delivery

Courses Delivered

Weekly training is delivered across specialist technical areas, including:

• Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
• High Voltage Switching and Systems
• Instrumentation (Certificate III IC and Certificate IV Instrumentation)
• Solar and Battery Systems
• QTP and QBP licensing preparation
• Refrigeration and related electrical disciplines

About You

You are an experienced trainer or industry professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for developing others. You are confident delivering both theoretical and practical training and can engage learners across varying experience levels.

You will ideally have:

• Relevant trade or technical qualifications in electrical or energy disciplines
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) - preferred not essential
• Strong industry experience in one or more of the listed technical areas
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills
• Ability to work independently and manage training delivery outcomes
