A well-regarded global underground mining contractor is seeking experienced Boilermakers to join their maintenance team at a modern Underground Gold Operation in Western Australia. This role offers excellent site facilities, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with a highly experienced crew maintaining new underground mining equipment and infrastructure.

Key duties include:
Conducting underground welding and mechanical repairs on fixed plant infrastructure including conveyors, steel structures, chutes and associated mining equipment
Fabricating and installing steel components such as service piping, ventilation ducting, structural frames and other underground infrastructure
Performing precision welding using MIG, TIG, stick welding and oxy-acetylene cutting to repair and manufacture components underground
Installing and repairing structural steel such as handrails, walkways, grating and protective liners across processing and ore handling areas
Replacing wear components on underground mobile equipment including LHD buckets, trays and wear plates
Supporting ventilation and ground support works including installation or repair of ventilation walls and related infrastructure

$70 per hour
Long-term opportunity with potential for permanent transition
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - Boilermaker / Engineering Fabrication Trade (MEM)
Construction White Card
Confined Space Entry
High Risk Work Licence - Forklift or EWP (advantageous but not always essential)
Driver's Licence
Valid National Police Clearance
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug/Alcohol Screen
