The role

Reporting into the leading hand on your crew you will enjoy working in a team of experienced OEM component rebuild mechanics/ technicians that have a world of knowledge on the equipment. With a wide range of support to get you going and confident with your duties, you'll enjoy the following tasks;

  • Component Overhaul: Disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, and rebuilding transmission assemblies, including torque converters and drivetrain components.
  • Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Using OEM programs to identify faults, analyze fluid samples (S·O·S), and test hydraulic systems.
  • Engineering Updates: Incorporating the latest OEM engineering updates during the rebuild process to ensure improved performance.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine inspections and repairs to minimise downtime for heavy equipment.
  • Technical Reporting: Completing accurate, detailed reports to ensure quality standards.

The roster and hours

  • 7:7 roster
  • Day shift only
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 00am - 6.00pm

Your value and experience

You will have come from a mechanical trade Certificate III and have previous experience working on heavy equipment in workshop environment. Previous experience working on component rebuilds is highly regarded, however not essential in your success in this role. You will need the following:

  • An excellent attitude towards work with a strong work ethic
  • Passionate about your trade and producing quality results
  • Be able to work autonomously on rebuild projects where you will take full ownership
  • Eager to learn and forward your skills and experience with an OEM component rebuild division
  • Safety stands as a priority
