The Role

• Prepare preliminary sketches & coordinate designs
• Production drafting work using AutoCAD and Revit (new house designs to full working drawings)
• Liaison with Council DCP, Developer Requirements, Building Code of Australia, etc..
• Produce detailed documentation of Site/Floor Plans, Elevations, Sections, Details, Electrical, Kitchen, Storm Water Plan, Soil & Sediment Control Plan and Shadow Diagrams

What you need

• Min. 5 years in a similar/related position in Residential home building
• Diploma in Building Design (or similar)
• AutoCAD Qualified
• Strong knowledge of NCC, QDC and Small Lot Code
• Well developed writing and communication skills - team player with a good attitude
• Accuracy and attention to detail, highly organised, proactive and resourceful
• Ability to perform under time pressures and meet deadlines
