About the Company
Our client is a custom home builder, operating in the Residential Construction industry for several years and build homes all over Southwest, Western Sydney and surrounding areas.
They are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Permits Coordinator to manage all permits and approvals throughout the pre-construction phase.
Their product includes a mixture of contract homes, granny flats, house and land packages, knock down re-builds, dual-occupancy homes, and complete bespoke builds. The business has recently grown, and they are building over 150 + projects across Sydney.
About the Role
As the Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional client experience throughout the selections process.
You will act as a trusted guide for clients, creating confidence and clarity as they make important design decisions for their new home. Working closely with internal teams, external suppliers and Interior Designers.
Duties
- Book, prepare and conduct colour selection appointments, guiding clients confidently through the selections process.
- Prepare and review all colour selections documentation, including tender documents, kitchen elevations and external colour schedules.
- Coordinate supplier documentation (tiles, electrical and other selections) and accurately process client variations.
- Proactively manage objections, resolve client concerns promptly and ensure all promised follow-ups are completed.
- Maintain an organised, well-presented and up-to-date colour selections studio, including stock control and sample management.
- Liaise with internal teams, trades and suppliers to ensure accuracy, compliance and smooth project delivery.

What You Need
- Diploma or equivalent Qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Interior Designer/Colour Selections with a project or custom home builder
- Maintains a polished and professional appearance
- Prior experience with material and finishes selections will be advantageous
