This role would also suit an exisiting who is quite fresh into their career who is wanting to move across to a recognised commercial business delivering both fit out and new build works.

This is a supplier-focused role, meaning you won't be hiding behind a desk. You will be the engine room of the procurement process, constantly on the move and on the phone.

The Role:

As a Junior Estimator, your primary goal is to ensure projects are cost-effective and fully supported by our supply chain.

You will:

• Call suppliers daily to chase quotes, negotiate pricing, and clarify technical specs. Exceptional phone etiquette is non-negotiable.

• Use your "can-do" attitude to solve problems before they reach the Project Manager. If a supplier is out of stock, you find an alternative.

• Perform take-offs and costings for commercial projects, learning the ins and outs of large-scale construction and minor works projects.

• Help the senior team build winning tenders by being the most organized and proactive person in the office.

Who You Are

• Hungry to Learn! You want to be in commercial building and are willing to put in the work to become an industry expert.

• You are confident, professional, and persuasive on the phone. You know how to build a rapport with suppliers to get the best results.

• Have had at least 12 months experience in estimating in some capacity.

• Exposure to CostX a huge bonus!
