The Role

This is a practical Mechanical Trade Assistant role supporting the onsite diesel mechanic across workshop and field-based maintenance activities. You'll assist with routine servicing, preventative maintenance and minor repairs while helping keep the workshop and site running smoothly and safely.

The Hours, Roster & Overtime

• Monday-Friday (5:2 roster)
• Around 8 hours per day
• Flexible start and finish times
• No weekend work required

Your Skills & Experience

Essential

• Practical mechanical aptitude and confidence using tools
• Victorian manual driver's licence
• Interest in heavy vehicles and mechanical work
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset

Highly Regarded

• Previous TA, offsider or hands-on mechanical experience
• HR licence
• Mechanical trade training or heavy industry exposure
