About The Role:
Joining a boat building business that has been in operation for over 20 years and continuously growing.
The role as bookkeeper / accounts payable is a key role within the business to support the management and production team.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end accounts payable processing
- Supplier invoice management, statements, and payment runs
- Maintaining accurate and compliant financial records
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and external accountants
- General bookkeeping and administrative support
- Accounts receivable support may be required from time to time.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience using Xero (essential)
- Formal qualification in accounting or bookkeeping (essential)
- Experience within a manufacturing business (essential)
- Solid understanding of accounts payable processes
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident using spreadsheets and accounting systems
- Able to come into the office full time.
