Looking to kick off 2026 with something new and long-term? This is a permanent, residential heavy diesel fitter role based in Brisbane, offering consistent hours, strong earning potential, and a mix of workshop and field work to keep things interesting.

You'll be joining a well-established, highly regarded earthmoving dealership that operates across QLD and nationally without FIFO, shutdowns, or constant travel.

The Role & Machinery

This is a hands-on role suited to fitters who enjoy variety and responsibility with your time being split roughly 50/50 between workshop and field, working across a broad range of heavy equipment with typical work includes:

• Servicing, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance
• Major repairs and rebuilds
• Warranty and commissioning work
• Breakdown support in the field
• Supporting apprentices and junior trades
• Working on earthmoving, crushing, and screening equipment

The Branch & Working Hours

You will be based out of a Brisbane workshop, with regular field work supporting local customers and equipment.

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm with an early finish Fridays
• Flexible start/finish times available to create strong work life balances
• Regular overtime and occasional weekends if you want them
• Strong earning potential without FIFO or long commutes but out and about in the field when needed

Your Value

You're a trade-qualified fitter who takes pride in doing things properly and enjoys being part of a solid team and has:

• Certificate III in Heavy Diesel or Mechanical Trade
• Experience with earthmoving, mining, road transport, or heavy plant
• Confidence working independently on larger repairs
• Exposure to hydraulics and basic electrics (or keen to upskill)
• Strong work ethic, good attitude, and safety-first mindset
• Looking for long-term stability and earning potential
