A drafting opportunity that isn't just about creating standard plans. We need someone who can work to make joinery projects come to life!

Are you a skilled Cabinet Vision Drafter with a strong understanding of joinery? My client is a well established joinery company who are searching for a talented drafter.

This isn't just about creating standard plans. We need someone who can work with a design team to take a client's vision from concept to a complete set of detailed, production-ready drawings. A key part of your role will be the ability to technically detail and nest for production, ensuring the workshop can build each project with maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate and detailed drawings using Cabinet Vision software for custom cabinetry, kitchens, and other joinery projects.

• Technically detail all aspects of a design, including joinery methods, hardware placement, and material specifications, to produce comprehensive shop drawings.

• Nest parts for production to optimize material usage and reduce waste.

• Liaise with the workshop team to ensure all drawings are clear, precise, and ready for production.

• Identify and resolve potential issues in the design phase to ensure a smooth build process.

• Maintain an organized and efficient workflow, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Vision drafter, with a demonstrated ability to technically detail and nest for production.

• A strong understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and construction methods.

• The ability to think creatively and solve problems in a practical way.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• While a formal qualification in cabinet making is highly regarded, it's not essential. We value practical experience and a demonstrated ability to perform the role to a high standard.
