The role
Reporting to the branch manager on the crew you will oversee a team of experienced OEM fitters that have a world of knowledge on the equipment. With a wide range of support to get you going and confident with your duties, you'll enjoy the following tasks;-
- Training and supporting a team of 6-12 workshop technicians.
- Working on branch budgeting and improving productivity to ensure the branch operates smoothly.
- Helping customers with questions, queries or complaints.
Your value and experience
You will have come from a diesel mechanical background, ideally qualified on mobile plant equipment. Previous experience working in a leadership role is also necessary to excel in this role. You will also have;-
- Customer service skills (handling complaints, communicating pricing, resolving disputes)
- Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Safety stands as a priority
- Leadership and team management experience (coaching, supervising, performance monitoring)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
