Factory Manager / Foreman

A great role for a talent Factory Manager seeking a company with excellent culture and room to grow!

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will ensure that my dlient's factory operates smoothly, safely, and will efficiently, produce high-quality joinery. You will be responsible for leading a talented team of cabinet makers and managing the day-to-day operations of the factory, from production to stock control. Your ability to troubleshoot issues, motivate your team, and maintain a positive and productive work environment will be key to your success.

So, whats required?

• Motivate, train, and manage a team of cabinet makers to achieve daily production targets and foster a positive and fun work culture.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on all joinery to ensure high standards are met, and provide hands-on assistance to the team as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime, and ensure the factory machinery is well-maintained and in good working order.
• Conduct weekly safety audits and implement best practices to maintain a safe and productive environment for all employees.
• Drive morning toolbox catch-up's
• Manage stock control, including ordering and maintaining materials, and work closely with the dispatch team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Work closley and offer support to the Production Manager.

You Are:

• A qualified cabinet maker with previous experience as a factory foreman.
• A proven leader with a focus on motivating and developing a team.
• Able to to read and interpret detailed plans and drawings, along with hands-on installation experience to understand the needs of the installation team.
• Experienced in shopfitting or building custom detailed joinery.
• Able to manage stock control, oversee purchasing when needed, and resolve production issues efficiently.
• An excellent communicator who has great organisational skills and the ability to report on progress through internal sytems.
