The Role

As a field service diesel mechanic, you will be the assigned OEM technician for the equipment sold to one of the company's main clients in Victoria. The role will involve; -

• Maintaining equipment across 6 locations in Melbourne and regional victoria
• Becoming well acquainted with a wide range of machines in the client's portfolio
• Working on wheel loaders, excavators, forklifts, trucks (electric and diesel)
• Mechanical duties - servicing, PM work and scheduled maintenance, warranty work, general repairs, machinery upgrades, breakdowns inc. fault finding and diagnostics
• Working closely with the customer and developing a strong relationship with site contacts

Your Skills & Experience

You will have come from a diesel trade qualified background and experience working on earthmoving equipment. You will also; -

• Have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be able to work autonomously and in a team
• Have strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Be able to carry out work with a high level of accuracy
• Have strong written skills and be able to use computer systems
