Role Overview:
You will play a key role in supporting our Site Engineering and Supervisory teams by overseeing the delivery of both Civil and Rail projects. This involves coordinating engineering efforts to ensure that all works align with approved designs, plans, and technical specifications. Your leadership will be vital in managing subcontractors, scheduling tasks efficiently, and driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate engineering activities across civil and rail projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Manage subcontractor performance to meet quality and timeline objectives, optimising workflow and resource allocation.

Prepare, maintain, and control all documentation related to project delivery.

Identify opportunities for design improvements and contribute to enhancing project methodologies.

Apply your track construction expertise to support the successful execution of rail infrastructure works.

Ensure project delivery aligns with Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) standards and practices, drawing on your prior experience working with ARTC.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering.

Extensive rail industry experience, including hands-on track construction knowledge.

Demonstrated experience working on ARTC projects or familiarity with ARTC's operational and safety standards.

Possession of a valid Class C Driver's Licence.

Proven ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively in a demanding and fast-moving environment.

Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels and influencing outcomes positively.

Collaborative team player with the ability to foster strong working relationships.

Effective leadership skills to drive teams toward the achievement of key milestones and project goals.

Sound decision-making skills, with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
