The Company

Are you a skilled carpenter looking to step into a leadership role? I am working on an exciting opportunity for a Leading Hand Carpenter to manage high-end renovation and extension projects exceeding $1.5M in value. Based in the vibrant Bayside area, these projects demand precision and excellence and offer an exciting opportunity to work on architecturally designed projects.

The Role

• Execute carpentry and formwork tasks with precision, specializing in high-end/domestic construction methods.
• Interpret and implement architectural plans accurately, ensuring the seamless progress of construction.
• Communicate effectively with the director and trades, providing updates on project status and ensuring site operations run smoothly.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Occupational Health & Safety standards.

What you need

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified carpenter, with a proven track record of excellence.
• Experience in high-end residential construction is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural plans.
• Reside within a commutable distance of the Bayside area.
• Hold a valid VIC driver's license.
