Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to come on board as a Junior Joinery Drafter. In this role, you'll gain valuable experience working on high-end, bespoke commercial projects. You'll work alongside a senior drafter, learning the ropes and mastering industry-leading software.
What you'll do:
- Break down tender packages using your understanding & training of commercial estimating.
- Produce accurate material quantity lists for projects.
- Create meticulous and comprehensive estimates for bids.
- Submit bids at tender meetings to secure projects.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Engage in successful negotiations with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Embrace opportunities for mentoring, continuous learning, and personal and professional growth.
What we're looking for:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent computer skills and a willingness to learn new software
- A passion for creating high-quality joinery
- A minimum of 6 months in the cabinet making industry (qualified trade experience a plus, but not essential)
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
