Are you an experienced HVAC Design Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in Canberra? I'm on the lookout for a talented individual to join a tier one organisation with a 50+ year history in Australia. This is one of the roles that comes by once in a blue moon, competitive salary and the opportunity to work on some exciting major construction projects in the HVAC industry.

The Role

Opportunity to work with a tier one organisation across HVAC end to end design in major construction projects based in Canberra.

• Play a critical role in the planning, development, and implementation of HVAC systems across major construction projects.
• Full time Canberra based HVAC Design Engineer role, ideally Australian Citizen due to the defence/government work.
• HVAC construction projects such as - hospitals, schools, and office blocks.
• From scratch HVAC system design, liaising with clients over briefs, occasionally go out to get pricing/costs, develop detailed drawings and specifications for HVAC system, coordinating with builders from design into construction, ensuring design is replicated into construction.
• Select the most suitable HVAC equipment, based on project requirements, energy efficiency goals, budgets, and local building codes.
• Office and site-based role, necessary to be based in Canberra.
• Ensuring the efficient, reliable, and sustainable operation of HVAC systems in buildings.

What you need

• Must be an Australian Citizen due to the defence/government work.
• Registered member of Engineers Australia.
• White card, for site visits with clients
