Senior Contract Administrator - Water & Wastewater

West Melbourne | $180,000 - $200,000 + Super

An exciting opportunity has become available to join a specialist infrastructure contractor with an established reputation for delivering complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Australia and the Pacific.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator or Project Manager with a strong background in water and wastewater treatment plant projects to transition into a more strategic, tender-focused position.

Working as part of the company's new business team, you will draw on your extensive project delivery experience to assist with major tenders, construction methodologies, programmes and commercial submissions.

Rather than managing the day-to-day demands of project delivery, this position will allow you to utilise your technical and commercial knowledge to help shape projects before they reach site.

The Opportunity

• Support the new business team in preparing tenders for major water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

• Develop and contribute to detailed construction methodologies and delivery strategies.

• Assist with project programming, scheduling and tender submissions.

• Review scopes of work, technical specifications, drawings and contractual documentation.

• Provide commercial input into project estimates, risk assessments and tender pricing.

• Identify construction risks, opportunities and efficiencies during the tendering phase.

• Work closely with senior leadership to develop competitive and deliverable project proposals.

• Apply your previous project delivery experience to ensure proposed methodologies and programmes are realistic.

About You

We are looking for someone with significant industry experience who understands what it takes to successfully deliver complex water infrastructure projects.

You will ideally bring:

• A background as a Senior Contract Administrator, Project Manager, Contracts Manager or Estimator.

• Proven experience delivering water treatment plants (WTP) or wastewater treatment plants (WWTP).

• Strong exposure to Design & Construct (D&C) projects.

• Experience developing construction methodologies, programmes and tender submissions.

• A sound understanding of civil, structural and process-related components of treatment plant construction.

• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify project risks and delivery considerations.

• The ability to work autonomously and provide guidance and technical input to the wider business.
