An established insurance builder is looking for an experienced Insurance Building Supervisor to join their team in Rockhampton, managing insurance repair works across Central Queensland.
The territory will primarily cover Rockhampton, Gladstone and Yeppoon, with occasional travel potentially extending to Emerald. With established teams covering other areas of Queensland, you'll have a defined local territory and strong support from the wider business.
The preference is for an experienced Insurance Supervisor, however candidates who have worked in a combined Insurance Supervisor/Estimator capacity are also encouraged to apply.
Managing a portfolio of residential insurance claims, you'll be responsible for:
Supervising insurance repair works from commencement through to completion
Conducting site inspections throughout the repair process
Coordinating trades, subcontractors and suppliers
Scheduling works and keeping jobs progressing within required timeframes
Managing variations, additional works and changes to scope
Monitoring quality, compliance and WHS across your sites
Maintaining strong communication with policyholders and internal stakeholders
Managing multiple concurrent insurance repair jobs across your territory
Completing scopes and estimates where required for candidates with estimating experience
Previous insurance building supervision experience is essential for this position.
You'll understand the insurance repair process and be comfortable managing multiple claims at different stages while maintaining strong communication with policyholders, trades and internal teams.
You'll bring:
Demonstrated experience supervising insurance building repairs
Strong knowledge of residential repair methodology
Experience managing multiple insurance claims concurrently
Strong trade and subcontractor management skills
Confidence managing variations and changes to scope
Excellent organisation and time management
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
Ability to work autonomously across a regional territory
Current driver's licence
Trade qualifications and/or relevant QBCC licensing highly regarded
Candidates with experience across both insurance estimating and supervision will also be considered.
