Project Manager | Immediate & 2027 Starts

PM roles starting now or in the new year with established Perth commercial builders. Own the project and shape it early.

We're partnering with a small number of respected Perth commercial builders, each looking to appoint a Project Manager to lead projects from start to finish.

Roles available now, plus new-year starts. Some positions are ready to fill immediately. We're also taking expressions of interest for roles starting in early 2027, so if you're planning a move after the break, we'd still like to hear from you.

The builders

These are privately owned, well-established WA builders with deep repeat client relationships and award-recognised work. They select projects carefully, favour quality over volume, and bring their PMs in early to shape the outcome. Between them they deliver:

• Education, including multi-stage projects in live schools
• Health, aged care and retirement living
• Apartments and mixed-use developments
• Heritage, civic and community buildings
• Retail, fitout, refurbishment
• Industrial warehouses/ bulk-storage

The role

You'll have genuine ownership of your projects and the client relationship:

• Leading delivery from tender handover or ECI through to practical completion and defects
• Full commercial accountability: budgets, cost reporting, forecasting and margin
• Contract administration under AS4000, AS2124 and AS4902
• Design management and value engineering with consultants and clients
• Programme, procurement strategy and subcontractor management
• Leading and developing your Site Manager and CA team
• Contributing to tenders, client presentations and repeat-business relationships

Projects are matched to your experience, from single-stage builds to larger multi-stage programs.

About you

• 5+ years project management experience with a local commercial head contractor
• A record of delivering commercial projects through to handover
• Tertiary qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, QS or similar
• Strong commercial and contractual skills, including AS4000 / AS4902
• Experience in education, health, aged care, multi-res, heritage or D&C is highly regarded
• A history of strong tenure and projects delivered from start to finish

Civil, mining, residential volume, client-side and subcontractor backgrounds are unlikely to suit these clients.

Salary: $150k-$220k + super (junior to senior). Salary ranges are a guide only; the final package is set by the client based on each candidate's experience.
