We are looking for experienced Underground Service Crew for an established gold mine in Central Victoria, supporting ongoing underground development project.

This is an ongoing casual DIDO opportunity, with motel/hotel-style accommodation provided with food and fuel allowances included while on swing. You don't need to relocate to the area, making it a great option for experienced underground workers looking for consistent work in Victoria.

The role

Working as part of the underground Service Crew, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining and extending essential underground services to support production and development activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing, extending and maintaining underground air and water services, including pipework, valves and fittings.
• Installing and maintaining ventilation systems, including vent bags, ducting and fans.
• Setting up and maintaining underground pumps, sumps and dewatering systems.
• Assisting qualified tradespeople with underground power and communications infrastructure.
• Operating integrated tool carriers, service trucks and other support equipment where trained and authorised.
• Transporting materials, consumables and equipment to underground work areas.
• Identifying faults and completing general repairs and maintenance of underground services.
• Completing pre-start inspections, risk assessments and maintaining safe underground work areas.

What we're looking for

Previous underground hard rock mining experience is essential. This is not an entry-level opportunity.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous underground hard rock mining experience.
• Service Crew experience across ventilation, pipework, pumping or dewatering highly regarded.
• Experience operating underground support equipment such as integrated tool carriers.
• Relevant underground operating tickets and competencies advantageous.
• Current Australian manual driver's licence.
• Strong understanding of underground safety procedures.
• A reliable, practical approach to working within an underground team.
• Ability to work a continuous 7:7 rotating day/night roster.

DIDO arrangements and relocation

Candidates can remain based at home and drive to site for their rostered swings, with Marble providing motel/hotel-style accommodation, food allowances and fuel allowances while on swing.
