Field Service Diesel Mechanic working across civil earthmoving equipment, carrying out breakdowns, diagnostics, repairs & fault finding.

The Role

Working autonomously across the field, you'll respond to breakdowns and carry out diagnostics, repairs and fault-finding on a broad range of civil earthmoving machinery.

• Core hours Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
• Daily overtime regularly available
• Saturday OT available when required
• Fully equipped, modern service ute with fuel card
• Occasional away work with all expenses paid

What You'll Bring

Ideal for an experienced diesel mechanic who thrives in field service, values autonomy, and enjoys hands-on technical problem-solving.

• Trade-qualified diesel mechanic (or LV-qualified with relevant experience)
• 1-2+ years in field service or breakdown response role
• Background working on civil earthmoving equipment (essential)
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Confidence managing your own workload and schedule
• Customer-facing professionalism and pride in your work
• Drive to work solid hours and maximise take-home pay
• Australian PR or Citizenship is required for this position

The Opportunity

Based out of the Dandenong branch, this is a genuine long-term opportunity with a stable, growing dealership offering steady work and strong ongoing support.

• Permanent position, secure from day one
• Up to $52.00 hour + super
• Attractive overtime rates
• 10-hour days often available Monday-Friday
• Occasional away work with good earning potential
