Join a well-backed mid-tier contractor with a strong and reliable pipeline of infrastructure work across Queensland. With projects ranging from $5m to $10m+, you'll be part of close-knit teams that take pride in their work, look out for each other, and deliver projects to the highest standard.
With strong support from Project Managers, Engineers and senior leadership, this is an opportunity to take the next step in your career and make a genuine impact on site.
Working closely with the Project Manager, Supervisors and site delivery team, you'll play a key role in managing the successful delivery of highway and intersection projects from construction through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the management and delivery of DTMR projects in a fast-paced construction environment

Planning and coordinating onsite construction activities across highways, intersections and associated infrastructure

Supporting cost tracking, procurement and financial reporting across your section of works

Building strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and key project stakeholders

Supervising specialist subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme

Managing QA requirements including ITPs, method statements, testing, lot closures and as-builts

Maintaining accurate daily site records and project documentation

Working closely with Supervisors to ensure safety and environmental requirements are met

Ensuring OH&S procedures and a safe working environment are maintained at all times

Working collaboratively with Project Managers and Engineers to achieve quality, programme and commercial outcomes
What We're Looking For
-
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
-
Minimum 3 years' experience delivering DTMR projects in Queensland

Proven experience delivering highway and/or intersection projects
-
Strong understanding of DTMR specifications, standards and construction requirements

Experience across roads, earthworks, pavements and associated civil infrastructure

Strong understanding of QA processes and site documentation

Experience with cost tracking, reporting and procurement

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach

A collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a site-based team

Driver's licence and reliable transport
