The Opportunity

A great opportunity is available with a well-established residential builder in Brisbane, looking for a Site Supervisor to join their growing construction team.

The role would suit an experienced Site Supervisor looking for their next opportunity, as well as a strong Leading Hand or construction professional ready to step into supervision.

The builder is open to candidates who hold their QBCC licence, as well as those who have their Cert IV in Building & Construction but are yet to obtain their licence. Training and support can be provided for the right person.

You'll be responsible for a manageable workbook of approximately 10 homes, with strong internal support and an established construction team around you.

The Role

As the Site Supervisor, you'll take ownership of your homes from site start through to completion and handover.

You'll be responsible for:

• Managing multiple residential builds at different stages
• Coordinating subcontractors and trades
• Managing construction schedules and timeframes
• Monitoring site quality and workmanship
• Coordinating materials and site requirements
• Managing WHS requirements
• Maintaining communication with clients and internal teams
• Identifying and resolving issues throughout construction
• Ensuring homes are delivered to the required quality and timeframe

You'll have the autonomy to manage your own sites while working closely with an experienced Construction Manager and wider support team.

About You

We're looking for someone with a solid background in residential construction who can confidently manage sites, trades and construction timeframes.

You may be an experienced Site Supervisor, or you could be ready to take that next step from a Leading Hand or senior site-based position.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Cert IV in Building & Construction
• Strong residential construction experience
• Experience as a Site Supervisor, Leading Hand, Carpenter or similar
• A good understanding of the residential construction process
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused approach

QBCC Licence:
A current QBCC Site Supervisor or Builder's Licence is highly regarded, however it is not essential for the right candidate. The builder is open to candidates with their Cert IV in Building & Construction and can provide training and support to assist with the licensing pathway where required.
