Project Administrator

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to work with a luxury commercial joiner in the heart of Sydney CBD.

• Provide administrative support to Project Managers nationwide

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Australian business specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of commercial joinery with more than 30 years of industry experience. They work with builders, architects, designers and commercial fit-out teams to create high-quality workspaces across Australia.

The Sydney project team is looking for a Project Administrator to provide essential support to Project Managers and help ensure projects are coordinated efficiently from commencement through to completion.

What will you be doing?

Working closely with the Project Managers and reporting to the Project Director, you will play an important role in keeping project information accurate, up to date and moving through the business.

This is a varied role suited to someone who is highly organised, confident using systems and spreadsheets, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where attention to detail makes a real difference.

You will support multiple projects at different stages, helping the team stay on top of documentation, registers, financial administration and day-to-day project requirements.

Your day to day:

• Provide administrative support to the Sydney project team across multiple concurrent projects.
• Assist with the coordination of projects from initial job creation through to completion.
• Enter and maintain accurate job-related information within the company's project management systems.
• Assist Project Managers with maintaining project registers, including shop drawings, lead times, variations and samples.
• Help monitor project documentation and ensure information is available when required.
• Support the preparation and submission of invoices and project quotes and assist with project-related financial administration and costing.
• Follow up outstanding information and assist with meeting project deadlines.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy, organisation and customer service across all duties.

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional and enjoys being the person who keeps everything organised.

You will ideally have:

• 1-2 years' experience in administration, project support or a similar coordination role.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Confidence working with databases, spreadsheets and electronic records.
• A positive attitude and willingness to support others.
• The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.

Experience working in a Commercial Joinery, Shopfitting, or Commercial Construction environment will be highly regarded.
