  • Monitor progress against program and implement recovery strategies where required
  • Prepare progress reports, forecasts and project updates for senior management and clients
  • Resolve technical, commercial and delivery issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget

About You

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong civil construction background, ideally with experience delivering water and sewer infrastructure.

You will bring:

  • 7+ years' experience in civil construction, with proven Project Management experience
  • Strong experience across water, sewer, stormwater, pumpstations or major civil infrastructure
  • Relevant Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent qualification
  • Proven track record managing projects from commencement through to completion
  • Strong understanding of project programming, cost control, procurement and commercial management
  • Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
  • A proactive approach to safety, quality and risk management
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across project sites as required

What's on Offer?

  • Competitive salary package based on experience
  • Opportunity to manage significant civil infrastructure projects
  • Strong pipeline of work across Newcastle and the Hunter
  • Join a well-established contractor with almost 20 years of industry experience
  • Supportive and collaborative management team
  • Opportunity to take ownership of projects and play a key role in business growth
  • Ongoing professional development and career progression
