Field Service Supervisor role in Cairns - lead a team whilst remaining hands-on in a permanent role with a national brand.

• Permanent, Mon-Fri, 7am-4/4:30pm (some flexibility)
• Vehicle, laptop, phone and tooling supplied
• Mix of field work, workshop and team leadership
• Lead a technician and 2 apprentices
• Upskilling across a range of equipment
• 9-day fortnight after probation

The Duties

A blend of tools-on work and team leadership, keeping the workshop and field jobs running smoothly.

• Servicing, PM work and component change-outs
• Fault finding and diagnostics, field and workshop
• Hydraulic and electrical repairs
• Mentoring the technician and apprentices
• Managing workflow and job scheduling
• Overseeing workshop standards
• Warranty work and documentation
• Client liaison on-site

What You'll Need

Someone ready to lead while staying across the tools, with an eye for keeping the team on track.

• Trade qualified in LV or HD mechanics
• Prior supervisory or leading hand experience
• Strong mechanical knowledge, some hydraulics/electrical
• Comfortable leading a small team
• Good customer service skills
• Solid computer skills for admin/scheduling
