A leading mining maintenance contractor is expanding its Neerabup workshop operation and is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician looking for long-term stability, career growth, and a strong team culture.
This is a Perth-based workshop role working across Underground HME in a hands-on mining environment - focused on maintenance, rebuilds, fit-outs and machine preparation to support ongoing underground operations.

The Role
You'll be working in a modern workshop environment carrying out servicing, diagnostics, rebuilds and maintenance on a range of underground mobile mining equipment (Sandvik, Epiroc & CAT), supporting machine reliability and performance across the fleet.
- Servicing, maintenance and rebuild work on Sandvik, Epiroc and CAT underground HME
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults across mining machinery
- Installation, repair and replacement of wiring looms, lighting, sensors and electrical components
- Carrying out inspections, testing and preventative maintenance activities
- Supporting component change-outs and full equipment rebuilds
- Working closely with mechanical and hydraulic teams to complete workshop rebuild projects
- Maintaining high safety, quality and housekeeping standards within the workshop environment
What We're Looking For
- Australian-recognised Auto Electrical Trade Certificate (Essential)
- Certificate II Automotive Air-Conditioning (preferred)
- Underground mining equipment experience - Sandvik, Epiroc or CAT (preferred)
- Strong understanding of workshop safety systems
- A team player with strong problem-solving skills
- Current driver's licence + ability to pass pre-employment checks
