Project Engineers (x2) | Gippsland, VIC
Are you a Project Engineer looking for your next challenge in the growing Gippsland region? We are currently recruiting for two separate, highly successful businesses that are locking in major pipelines of work across civil infrastructure and renewable energy.
Depending on your background and career goals, we have two distinct opportunities available:
The Company: A dominant industry leader in Gippsland, known for delivering high-quality, large-scale civil projects. They have a massive local footprint and a reputation for treating their staff exceptionally well.
The Focus: Civil construction, roads, major earthmoving, and quarrys.
Your Role:
Manage day-to-day civil site operations, ensuring projects hit milestones safely, on time, and within budget.
Oversee subcontractors, plant allocation, and material procurement.
Handle quality assurance (QA), progress tracking, and variations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local councils, VicRoads/DTP, and key stakeholders.
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven experience delivering local civil, roadworks, or bulk earthworks projects.
Strong knowledge of local civil engineering standards and specifications.
The Company: A tier-one subcontractor in civil & utilities space with a rapidly expanding footprint in renewable energy. They are major players in power infrastructure, with a massive pipeline of local substation and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) projects.
The Focus: Civil construction, electrical infrastructure, substation builds, and renewable energy integration.
Your Role:
Coordinate engineering deliverables for complex electrical infrastructure and utility projects.
Manage the end-to-end execution of substation upgrades and BESS installations.
Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Liaise with grid operators, asset owners, and multidisciplinary design teams.
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience working on utilities, power, substations, or renewable energy projects (BESS experience is highly regarded).
Strong understanding of structural/electrical interfaces and high-voltage environments.
Local Stability: Secure pipelines of work right here in Gippsland-no more long commutes to Melbourne.
