We're looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join a highly regarded OEM with a legacy spanning nearly 100 years. Based across Tasmania and travelling between major sites, this is a role that offers genuine variety, serious earning potential and the kind of career development that's hard to find elsewhere.
- Permanent role on their books from day one - no labour hire
- 7/7 even time roster with plenty of overtime available (4:3 or 5:2 option available down the track)
- $52/hr + $50 per day site allowance + 1.5hrs travel paid at start and end of each rotation
- All tools of trade service vehicle, OEM tooling, PPE, phone and laptop provided
- Minimum 80 hours per year in-house OEM training
- Work alongside some of the best in the business on the biggest fleet of machinery in the game

The role
Out in the field across Tasmanian mine and construction sites, no two days will look the same. You'll be the go-to technical expert for customers on site, troubleshooting and solving complex problems on heavy equipment that drives some of Australia's most significant projects.
- Onsite technical troubleshooting, fault-finding, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance
- Working across hydraulics, transmissions and engines
- Delivering excellent customer service and liaising directly with clients on site
- Accurate reporting back to the office
- Travel between major Tasmanian sites weekly and at short notice
Your value and experience
You'll be a qualified Diesel Technician with solid field service experience on heavy earthmoving equipment.
You'll also bring:
- Ideally Certifcate III in Mobile Plant
- Proven ability to diagnose, fault find and problem solve on complex machinery
- Hands-on experience across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings
- A strong safety mindset and commitment to delivering quality work
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Advanced diagnostic tool knowledge (highly regarded)
- OEM dealership or mining environment experience (highly regarded)
