Our client is a global leader in mining equipment and technology, with 44,000 employees worldwide and a strong history of supply into the WA mining industry. Their Kenwick branch supports underground mining equipment and open cut drill and blast rigs for principal miners and contractors across the state.

About the role

Reporting to the Service Administration Manager, you'll work closely with a team of 5 service admin professionals supporting the Kenwick workshop. Your efforts will support the integration of Maximo, the new asset management platform, alongside day-to-day service administration duties, including:

  • Processing service jobs and creating order acceptances and acknowledgements
  • Participating in Work In Progress (WIP) reviews and providing WIP information to the team
  • Raising and receipting purchase orders, and expediting outstanding POs and parts
  • Customer reporting on job progress
  • Creating dispatch and return documents
  • Liaising with Accounts Receivable and Finance on customer credit issues
  • General data entry, invoicing, and raising service entries
  • Providing administrative support to the Customer Service Centre

About you

You'll come from a workshop or heavy industry administration background with experience in a similar role. You'll also bring:

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • High attention to detail with an organised, process-driven approach
  • Strong people skills and the ability to build relationships
  • The ability to multitask and work unsupervised

Experience in a workshop planning or scheduling role, or exposure to Aurora ERP or Maximo, would be highly regarded but isn't essential.
