Project Engineer - Roads & Bridges

Marble has partnered with a well-established transport and utilities contractor that is continuing its growth across Queensland. About the Role

You will work closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver project activities in line with programme and budget requirements.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to compile progress reports, track project performance, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout all project stages.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and procurement to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Identify project risks and implement effective solutions to mitigate delays and cost impacts.
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with company procedures, legislative requirements, and industry best practice.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance across all project activities.

About you:

• Proven experience delivering road and bridge construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, specifications, and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
• Previous experience working on Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) or Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects will be highly regarded.
