This globally recognised OEM has been operating for over 140 years and is the market leader across the construction and mining sectors. Their Melbourne metro workshop is one of the largest and most well-equipped in Victoria - with spec, new-generation equipment and a wider scope of work than most.

The Role

Based in their Melbourne metro workshop, you'll report to your leading hand and work across a diverse range of equipment and tasks including:

• Preventative and scheduled maintenance and servicing
• Diagnostics, fault finding and problem solving
• Working across excavators (20-100t), diggers, trucks and quarry equipment - small machines through to large
• Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm or 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday, with OT available

Your Value

This role is open to a wide range of mechanical trade backgrounds. What matters most is attitude, work ethic and a commitment to quality.

You'll bring:

• A mechanical trade qualification (diesel, mobile plant or similar however, a Certificate III in Mobile Plant is preferred)
• Workshop experience working on earthmoving or construction equipment
• Strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
• A safety-focused mindset and pride in the quality of your work
• Ability to commute to Melbourne's south-east
• Mechanics, hydraulics and/or electrical capability

Moving from Temp to Perm

Your initial contract will be through Marble as a labour hire contractor. After a period of contracting, the intention is to move strong performers across to a permanent role with the OEM. This will be assessed on skills, team fit, quality of work, attitude and safety adherence.
