The mine site

A long-established underground hard rock mining hub in far west NSW, with over 100 years of continuous mining activity. The operation is supported by a major mining contractor and offers stable, long-term employment in a well-established regional mining community. It's a key site for those looking to build or progress their UG mining career in a safe, structured environment. You will enjoy:

• 7:7 roster (days and nights) working 12 hour days

The role

You will enjoy working in a team of specialist operators working on a ground support mining contract. As a Shotcrete Sprayer your duties will include; -

• Transporting shotcrete product from the batch plant on the surface to the UG working area

• Operating modern mining Normet Spraymechs
• Work under ground 100% of the time

• Working to KPI's per shift and per swing
• Adhering to safety processes and protocols on site
• Working in a team and autonomously
• Manual handing where needed

Your skills and experience

You will come from a background working as a shotcrete operator working in UG hard rock mining. You will also have the following skills and experience:

• Unrestricted driver's license (ability to drive manual vehicles)
• Previous experience working underground in shotcrete operation
• Highly reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance & pass a pre-employment medical

Contract and salary

Marble is partnered with this underground mining contractor to supply long term employees to the site. The opportunity exists to join the company on an initial 6-month contract through Marble and transition over to the clients' books after a short probation period (depending on performance and availability).

• $50.00 + super (whilst working through Marble on a labour hire contract)
• Weekly pay cycles whilst working through Marble
