The branch and working hours
As a Field Service Technician, you will attend to duties both in the field and workshop (based in Davenport). However, you'll spend most of your time on the road attending to service call outs to the client base in the region.
- Standard hours will be Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm (hours can be flexible)
- Depending on the work location, paid travel from your home to the job can be on offer
The role and machinery
In this role you will enjoy the opportunity to train and upskill to become experienced with an extensive range of different branded forklifts and access equipment with date to day duties as below
- Scheduled servicing
- Component change outs, PM work, scheduled maintenance, equipment/ technology upgrades
- Breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, problem solving
- Warranty work
Your skills and experience
You will come from a trade qualification in diesel mechanics and have the following skills and attributes:
- Trade qualified in diesel mechanics with experience across heavy machinery, vehicles such as road transport, earthmoving, or mining. Materials handling experience or access equipment is highly regarded, however not essential
- Ability to work in the field and attend breakdowns and problem solve jobs autonomously
- Hydraulic and electrical diagnostics skills are highly regarded in this role (not essential, training available)
- Strong customer service skills and an excellent attitude towards work
- Looking for a long-term permanent role with high earning opportunities
