Our client has been building luxury homes in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs for over 30+ years with a niche focus on high-end finishes, and bespoke, architecturally designed homes. From complete home renovations to knock down re-builds, they have developed a strong reputation as a trusted builder across the Eastern Suburbs and wider Sydney market.

We are seeking a a working Foreman to join their small works division and lead a range of projects from start to completion.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction from early services and excavation until handover with the client. Day to day duties will include:

• Managing the overall performance of each project from commencement to handover
• Liaising with trades and sub-contractors
• Checking material orders
• Lead a team of site staff in delivering projects
• Ensure that project milestones are followed and met on time
• Undertake project quality assurance
• Action and manage defective work
• Daily detailed site diaries
• Ensure that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and to specification
• Ensuring trades are complying with Safety Management Systems and WH&S legislation's

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience working as a Foreman across residential projects ideally within the high-end space
• Certificate III in Carpentry is essential in this role
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, energetic and driven individual with a positive attitude
