Roster & hours

• 7:7 roster - mainly day shift only
• Thursday/ Wednesday rosters patters
• 6:30am - 6:30pm

The role and duties

You will enjoy working in a team of specialist tradespeople working on a wide range of UG mining equipment in the workshop and the field. Your duties will include;-

• Perform maintenance and repairs on range of ground support heavy machinery
• Often diagnosing and fixing hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out emergency repairs where necessary
• Adhere to safety protocols and conduct risk assessments.
• Machinery - Sandvik Cablebolters, Normet Shotcreters, Agi's, Volvo Loaders and light vehicles.

Your value

• Trade qualifications in automotive or heavy diesel
• Previous experience working on UG hard rock mining machinery (highly regarded not essential)
• High level of skill performing diagnostics on electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to work autonomously and attend to breakdowns
• Ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance & pass a pre-employment medical
