The Role:

Reporting into the maintenance leading hand on your crew you will enjoy working in a crew focused on workshop and field service-based maintenance duties working on Sandvik, Epiroc and CAT equipment. Duties include:

• Workshop - servicing, scheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, component change out, general repairs, fault finding and diagnostics
• Field service - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, problem solving
• Machinery - UG mining trucks, boggers, drills, graders, charge up equipment and LV's

Residential or DIDO with camp:

The unique opportunity offers the change to either:

• Relocate to anywhere in Tasmania and then DIDO where camp and meals will be provided (relocation costs paid)
• Relocation to a residential role close to the mine site and take advantage of regional benefits inc sacrificed salary rent and a $9,500 annual residential allowance (relocation costs paid)

The Roster:

You will enjoy working a lifestyle friendly 7:7 roster, working 12-hour shifts

• Thursday - Wednesday
• Week of days, week off, week of nights, week off
• 5:30 - 5:30 shift patterns

Your skills and experience

You will come from a diesel trade background with prior experience working underground. You must have experience working on mechanical and hydraulic systems and come armed with; -

• An excellent attitude towards work
• Team player and can work autonomously as well as in a team
• UG hard rock mobile plant mining equipment experience
• Ability to work in the field and workshop
• Safety first mentality
