• Start on a Mon to Fri roster, with the option to then move to an 8:6 dayshift roster (12-hour shifts)
• Residential role in a major N.QLD mining hub - get to go home every night
• Get hands-on with technically challenging underground gear whilst working in a clean, well-equipped workshop alongside experienced, down-to-earth trades
• Strong hourly rates + genuine temp-to-perm or permanent opportunities
• Build specialist skills that are always in demand in UG hard rock mining

The Workshop Role

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you'll work on a range of underground mining equipment, with this technical role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving and upskill within their trade.

• Major component rebuilds
• Machine overhauls and upgrades
• Commissioning and testing
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Inspections and audit

Your Skills & Experience

• Must be either trade qualification in light vehicle or heavy diesel
• Some experience on heavy machinery from ag, mining, earthmoving or even transport
• Mining exposure (highly regarded but not essential)
• A positive, safety-focused attitude and genuine interest in building specialist underground mining skills
